The On The Water Advantage

We believe strongly that single most important factor to Pride Marine Group's success in the past 28 years is our mandate to operate on water locations. On first blush, that may sound like an easy generalization, but think about the implications to improvement of customer service, customer wellbeing and customer retention. Over 28 years, it has forced us to be better and continually raise the bar that we set for ourselves. It is so integral to our business identity that we could not imagine how a marina business could be run from land.

  1. On water locations allow us to respond immediately in the event of a breakdown on the lake. This is beneficial not only for your family's enjoyment of the boat, but in some cases, their safety.
  2. On water locations increase our hours of operation and accessibility. No land locked location would be open from 8:30AM to 8:30PM, 7 days a week. You are at the cottage and boating, during these hours, so we are open for you.
On water locations created 7 day a week service. We have a fully functional service department, including licensed technicians, working on Sundays. You are boating on Sundays, so we are able to respond and repair your boat on Sundays.
  3. On water locations make us more answerable to you. You see us every time you come in for ice cream, fill up with fuel, and buy a paper. We must always operate with the customer's best interests in mind because we are involved in a relationship.
  4. On water locations enable us to perform more accurate service on your boat. Diagnostics are done under real operating conditions, on the water with factory trained technicians.
  5. Boat management. We have many of our customers who simply trust us with keys to their boat, cottage and boat house to take care of their boat for them. With one phone call they can have their boat serviced, winterized, stored, accessories installed, and new toys dropped at their dock.
